Bail Bonds DIRECT is a fully licensed and bonded professional business. One of the most trusted names in the bail bond industry. Our staff of Bail Bond Agents are professionals who know the Laguna Beach jails.
Whether a person has been arrested for domestic violence, DUI, DWI or any other offense the process is the same. Persons taken into custody by the Laguna Beach Police or Sheriff's Department will be held at either the Laguna Beach Police Station Jail, Sheriff's Station Jail or will be transfered to the Orange County Jail (IRC) and will be kept there until their first court date called the "Arraignment." Bail is allowed to be posted in any facility 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.
Before a bail bond is turned in and accepted, the arrestee must pass a background check through "Live Scan", which is a machine that is linked to a county, state and national database. That database will notify the authorities of any possible holds, warrants, or aliases that might prevent release or increase the total bail amount of an arrestee. Once the results of the Live Scan come back from the various government agencies, that person is then "cleared" to bond out. At this time, a jailor will review and accept a Bail Bond for an arrestee and release them on the Bail Bond.
From the time a Bail Bond is turned in, it takes between 30 minutes and 3 hours for a release depending on the facility where the person is being held. Release times do vary based on the workload of the Laguna Beach jail's staff as well as the type of facility. Once out, a person will need to complete his or her part of the paper work, take a picture, and make sure to show up to each and every court date thereafter. It is recommended that you hire a Laguna Beach criminal defense lawyer as soon as possible.
In addition to being bail bonds agents we are proud members of the Laguna Beach community.

We have Orange County Bail agents locally who can meet with you in a matter of minutes within your initial phone call to us. Depending on your circumstances, we can even complete the bail bond process via telephone, email and/or fax. If you have a loved one in custody at the Laguna Beach Police Department, call Bail Bonds DIRECT® Laguna Beach and we will act quickly to bail them out. We have one of the fastest releases and cheapest bail bond options available in any city throughout Orange County and Southern California. Our entire bail process consists of approximately 30 minutes of explaining the process, filling out the required paperwork, qualifying you and posting the bond.
Bail Bonds DIRECT® bail bondsmen understand this is an uncomfortable, stressful and frightening time for you. We are here to offer free bail information and make this process as easy and understanding for you as possible. Below is specific information to help guide and assist you. Once an individual has been arrested in Laguna Beach, California, they are taken to the Laguna Beach Police Department City Jail for booking. Upon arrival, the individual is classified by the alleged crime(s) they are accused of, whether it is a penal code, vehicle code, health and safety code and/or business and professions code violation(s). The County of Orange has a pre-determined bail schedule that is the basis for the amount of bail that is set, determined by the violating code. Once the bail amount is assigned, the arrested individual has his or her fingerprints taken on a machine called a live scan. The live scan is connected to the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) national database. The live scan and DOJ compares records and will report if the arrested individual will need additional bail bonds for any warrants. The live scan will also report on whether he/she has any bail holds and/or other aliases to the Laguna Beach Police Department. Upon completion of the live scan and the returned results, the arrestee has then "cleared fingerprints" and is ready to be bailed/bonded out as long as there are no "holds". If a hold is placed, it means the arrestee is unable to bail/bond out because another law enforcement agency, parole/probation officer and/or Judge has Ordered that the person be held without the option to bail/bond out until they make at least one Court appearance. If the individual has cleared fingerprints, Bail Bonds DIRECT® can post the bond directly with Laguna Beach Police Department and the individual will be released and free within 15-30 minutes. We understand that it is not always an easy decision whether to bail someone out in Orange County CA; but it is important to contact us immediately of your becoming notified that your loved one has been arrested. This is so that in the case you do wish to bail them out, we can begin the process quickly and efficiently by notifying Laguna Beach Police Department that the individual arrested will be bailed out, or there is a possibility they will be bailed out and we can request that they hold them at the City Jail rather than transferring them to the Orange County Main Jail. Should you decide to wait and not act quickly, the arrested individual will likely be transferred to Orange County Jail/Central Jail Complex in Santa Ana, CA. The Orange County Main Jail is a maximum security correctional facility that holds approximately 5700 male and female inmates. If the arrestee is transferred, it often takes 6-12 hours to process the inmate at Orange County Jail/Central Jail Complex, where they will go through the booking process again. Although the arrested individual may have already "cleared fingerprints" at Laguna Beach, they will need to clear the system again at the Main Jail, where it takes significantly longer due to the high capacity of inmates. After they have completed the booking process at Orange County Main Jail/Central Jail Complex, Bail Bonds DIRECT® is then able to post the bond at the Cashier’s Office. After the bond has been posted, it then takes another approximate 4-12 hours for the individual to be released. This process is long, draining and frustrating. In order to avoid your loved one being transferred to the Orange County Main Jail in Santa Ana’s Jail Complex and endure the drawn out process there, Bail Bonds DIRECT® Laguna Beach can work directly with the Laguna Beach Police Department City Jail to keep the individual at the City Jail pending a bail bond posting. Once you become aware of the arrest, despite not feeling sure of your decision to hire our services, we offer a free consultation/free bail information and will contact the City Jail to inquire on the arresting charges, the bail amount and request they keep the inmate at the City Jail rather than immediately transferring them to the Orange County Jail/Central Jail Complex. Once we obtain the bail information, we will call you back and discuss your options with us. If you are low on finances for the bail bond, we can still help. In addition to taking all major credit cards, we offer the cheapest payment plans around with no financing costs depending on your credit rating. Once you have made the decision to bail your loved one out, we have a bail bondman ready to meet you and go through the process quickly. Upon posting the bail bond, the arrestee will be released from the City Jail within 15-30 minutes. We will receive a Court appearance date that is predetermined by the jail, usually within one month of the arrest date. Individuals arrested in Laguna Beach, California will most likely appear at the Harbor Justice Center Courthouse – Newport Beach Facility Superior Court, located at 4601 Jamboree Road, in the city of Newport Beach 92660. Upon his or her release, our bail agent will meet with the arrested individual, go through the required paperwork with him or her, notify them of their Court Appearance and any other requirements our office may implement. Bail Bonds DIRECT® Laguna Beach understands you have many options/choices in deciding which is the best Bail Bond Company to work with. We ask that you simply contact us, speak with one of our agents and give us the opportunity to make this bail bond process calm, comfortable, confidential and as FAST for you and your loved one.CREDIT RELEASE BY PHONE!
